2023 Spooky Season
We got back into the holiday swing of things this year with a month of Halloween celebrations. I have to say, though, we kept it all pretty chill this year. I will no longer go to pumpkin patches in SoCal on the weekends, due to crowds, so we went to a few favorites during the week and mostly celebrated with friends in our neighborhood and town. Coronavirus Christmas, Year 2
Each holiday that passes, I wonder, “how are we still celebrating holidays in a pandemic?” Yet, here we still are. We are still masked. We are still encouraged not to gather in large groups. Events and activities are still modified to protect attendees. And so, Christmas 2021 was similar in may ways to Christmas 2020 (minus the lockdown and plus one new baby). Continue reading

A Full Fall
After a low-key Halloween season last year, in which we only went to one pumpkin patch while on vacation, we celebrated a return to mostly normal this year with visits to multiple pumpkin patches, festivals, Halloween events, parties, and more. Continue reading
