We are a 40-something married couple who settled into our roles as husband and wife and then parents in Orange County, CA, after our September 2011 wedding. By day, he is a project executive at Bernards in Irvine and she is a technical writer at Nintex in Irvine. By night, he plans for his business, Chambers Development, and (for 18 years) she taught at CSULB. Somewhere in between all this working, writing, teaching, planning, and preparing, we find time to have a little fun together and with our school-aged children, Vivian, Lillian, and William; and our toddler daughter, Irene.

Yay! I will look forward to reading this whenever you post! The Happiness Project suggests starting a blog to increase your happiness and I think it is true- both in the writing and in the reading. I have been enjoying capturing my ideas in my quilt blog and eagerly looking forward to seeing what Robin has posted on her quilt blog. Now I can add this to the mix. I also think it is bemusing and satisfying how little things you say around your kids get mirrored back at you – they really do listen. I love, love, love your title “B.C.” It assures me that thoughts about those grand babies for Frank and me are front and center in your mind.
I’m glad you’re looking forward to following our blog! Obviously, the purpose of this blog is to document the fun we have before kids, but we have no idea what the future holds and when or if we will have kids. So for now, we’re just focusing on us and being happy as a family of two. Don’t get too excited about us having kids – it would be way too much pressure!
Hi! I thought I was following via email but I guess I was not. I’m glad I got that fixed!
