Holiday Open House

This year, Dan and I hosted a very “grown up” holiday open house. In past years, we’ve hosted ugly sweater parties with dirty Santa gift exhanges, beer pong, and Jell-O shots. My how times have changed! This year, we invited all of our friends over for a casual holiday open house with wine and cookies. We hosted this party less than 48 hours after returning from our NYC/NJ trip and really only had one day to shop, bake, clean, and decorate, but the house looked great, cookies were laid out, and wine bottles were uncorked before the first guests arrived.

    Man, you sure are motivated. By this point in my pregnancy, I wasn’t traveling OR planning get-togethers – much less switching from 1 to the other in 2 days! But it looks like you guys had a ton of fun, so I’m glad for you.
